A New Season

hello from Buzzy Bee Cottage!!!

It's been so long since I have written on my blog. Since the last time I wrote so much life has been lived. New nieces and nephews born and married into the family. New daughters-in-law. I lost 55 pounds and got healthier. My car blew up. We gained another grand daughter and my dear husband moved to Heaven. So now I am in a new season of life. When he moved things were different and scary and new all at the same time. It was difficult to find out who I was without him...a new normal. Being a widow is not for the faint of heart. But God...hhmmm...He is the best at comforting the heart and hanging out with you when you just need someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on.

I now find myself in love again with a wonderful man. He taught me how to laugh and live life again to the fullest. He is kind and funny and we enjoy just hanging out with each other. Ron and I are always off on one adventure or another. He loves photography and he is always stopping on the side of the road to take pictures of something or other. Last week it was cows. He is too funny!

I have started a few new crafty things as of late so I hope to post some pictures soon. I am working on a shawl in the magic knit stitch, a few albums as well; one is a wedding album and the other is a baby album for a friend.

That's it for now. It's cold and I need to snuggle in for the night.

Hello from the Buzzy Bee Cottage!!!

I have had this blog sitting here...blank...for so long and decided it was time to start writing something. I have always enjoyed writing...I remember a time in college we were to write a story about a memory... I chose to write about my Uncle Richard...I had the entire class... professor included...in tears. No, I won't promise a no tear zone but more  laughter  than anything else. Life here at the Cottage keeps me on my toes. I never know what is coming next...never a dull moment that's for sure.

Along with life stories, I will be posting some pictures of some of the things I create. I have five weddings this year...LOVE is definitely in the air around here...  so lots of cards to be made and we have a few babies on the way...NO NOT MINE...nephews and nieces and friends adding to their families. Also I just started an art journal...well really three...so I will be posting some of those pics as well.
